It's Carnaval week at École Agnes Davidson!

Carnaval is taking over École Agnes Davidson this week!
The school's annual celebration of French culture was highlighted by a huge family and community pancake breakfast on Thursday morning, where students were encouraged to dress up as Les Boucherons (lumberjacks).
Carnaval is traditionally a celebration in Quebec City as the final push through the winter months. The celebration is geared towards getting outside.
Earlier in the week, the school hosted its traditional Tire Sur la Neige (maple syrup in the snow), as students also participated in jigging, a Masquerade Ball, Jersey Day, a hockey game and canoe races. Fiddlers were also present throughout the week, as students also had a visit from Bonhomme to help cap off the celebration.
