LYTC is a live-in treatment program for youth struggling with substance use. This program is a provincial program that supports youth and families living across Alberta. Youth and families participate in ongoing assessment and collaborative service planning that supports skill building, the development of healthy coping strategies, development of strong and healthy support networks in the youth’s home community and relapse prevention planning. As a live in program, the youth will have the opportunity to participate in education and academic activities as provided through Alberta Education. Youth are expected to participate in regular home visits while staying the in program to ensure that skills are transferred outside of the program. The timelines for successful completion of this program are based on meeting the indicators of success as outlined in individual recovery planning and can typically be achieved in 10-14 weeks.

Clothing vouchers, referrals to other community and/or government agencies. Interfaith Learning Garden is a community volunteer program that provides fresh, healthy food for their cooking classes, and provides a learning opportunity for community members. To access food bank services, community members are asked to provide a certain amount of information which enables the food band to determine whether they are eligible to receive our services. This is a primarily income-based screening process; special circumstance will be considered as well. Guidelines for Accessing Lethbridge Food Bank Services Photo ID for each adult in the home Alberta Health Care Card Number for each resident in the household Proof of Income (only one source): Paystub, Child Tax Credit, SFI, AISH, Pension, EI, etc. Current proof of address for all adults in residence: rent receipt, utility, etc., Proof of necessary expenses: rent cost (a lease or rent receipt), utilities, etc. Once you have met the guidelines, you will be given a 3-month or 6-month card to make your next visit quick and easy. When your card expires, you will need to re-qualify by bringing the paperwork listed above. Food to our clients according to the number of full-time residents in the household. Subsidy is accessed through a fee-for-service delivery model. The model increases individual choice, as any participant counselling service provider can be accessed. The financial assistance follows you to the counseling that best suits your needs. Eligibility: If you are already asking counselling services, you can ask if they are participating in the counselling subsidy program. A list of providers can be found on the ICA website. You will need to complete an application with your Counselling Service Provider. Counseling subsidy is short term and meant to be preventative. |

Integrated Coordinated Access (ICA) is a system or network that helps people get to the services that they need in the quickest way possible. This is done through system navigation and ICA referral pathways. WHAT MAKES UP THE LETHBRIDGE ICA SYSTEM? In Lethbridge, the work of our Integrated Coordinated Access System is done through consistent training of system navigators and population support navigators, and the development of tools and resources to support the system. On this website, you will find information about the different components of the system, including: System Navigators - Information about Tiered Navigators & Population Support Navigators. These pages will help determine who you can turn to for support, and where you and/or your organization might be able to work alongside the system. This is also where you will find links to register for training. Referral Pathways - Search listings of service providers to find appropriate services in the community. Jumpstart is more than just about getting children active. It is about giving children from families with financial barriers the same chance to participate as their neighbors, classmate, and friends. Whether it is to try out a new sport or continue with a favorite sport, no child should be left out. Requirements: To be eligible for funding one or more children and their family must meet a specific financial criterion as per Revenue Canadas Low Income Cut Off (LICO) chart. Children must be between ages 4-18 years old. Funding is allocated to sustained programs that involve a sport or physical activity. Program should be a minimum of 5 weeks in duration and include at least one session per week. The annual maximum amount per child is eligible to receive up to $600 with a maximum of $300 per application. Application must include proof of financial need (current copy of Canada Child Benefit statement) Under exceptional circumstances (e.g., recent immigrant to Canada, fleeing abuse etc.) alternative confirmation of eligibility will be accepted on a case-by-case basis. Family can also independently apply at: www.jumpstart.canadiantire.ca Families need to register their children independently and let the organization know they are applying for Jumpstart. |

YMCA does not turn anyone away due to their ability to pay. The assisted membership options offer a chance for individuals and families to experience the YMCA at rates that fits their budget. Day Pass: Monthly Assisted Membership: Anyone currently on Employment Insurance (including maternity), AISH, Medical Insurance, AB Works qualifies for a reduced general membership fee. Families may also qualify if they meet low-income cut-off and will need to provide proof with application with tax assessment and current pay stubs (1-month) Funding received through the YMCA can be paired with funding through the City of Lethbridge Fee Assistance Funding, Kidsport, or Jumpstart. |
