Introduction to Esports Dual Credit Course
Lethbridge School Division is proud to have partnered with Bow Valley College to offer ESPR1101 to our high school students in Lethbridge. This is an amazing opportunity to learn about esports while earning both high school and college-level credits. The course will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM between February and May 2025.

What you need to know before you apply
- This course requires a serious commitment, and students need to ensure they are available during the class times to receive instruction.
- Students who register for the course will become students at Bow Valley College. Not completing the course could potentially lead to a negative mark being added to your official post-secondary transcript.
- We can only select 10 students for this course due to the high cost of offering it. People who have a true passion for esports or want to learn about esports should sign up.
- We recommend that people who sign up for this course work together and form a group at the school during class time, so be prepared.
Application Deadline
Please be aware that the application deadline is November 17.
A meeting will be held with all successful applicants on November 20 at the LCI Gaming Arena to go through the full application process.
