Agnes Davidson students celebrate traditional Quebecois winter festival - Carnaval

This week, students at École Agnes Davidson have been busy with a number of activities to mark the season of Carnaval.
The traditional Quebecois winter festival has been an important celebration for Lethbridge School Division's French Immersion school and in 2025, things kicked off on Wednesday morning with an opening ceremony.
Traditional dancing was taught by Mme. Sheryl Hawkins later in the day, as Wednesday also featured a Masquerade Ball.
Thursday was Dress Like a Lumberjack Day, as students enjoyed the annual Sugar Shack (La tire sur la neige).
