Update on water damage situation at Chinook High School

Early on Monday morning, a fire sprinkler line burst inside Chinook High School.
The resulting water damage impacted the main floor at the school, along with the second floor. A number of classrooms and other areas inside the west end of the school experienced significant water damage.
Remediation crews have been brought in, who along with Chinook’s caretaking staff, have been tasked with removing water and drying classrooms.
The school has also sent out communication directly to students and parents/caregivers regarding school operations for the remainder of this week. That communication can be found here: CHINOOK.
