Nicholas Sheran Elementary School celebrates Take Me Outside Day
Wednesday was Take Me Outside Day, and Lethbridge School Division took full advantage of the occasion.
At Nicholas Sheran Elementary School, students participated in a wide variety of activities, which included a tarp flip challenge, the creation of a Metis ribbon sash, story stones, shadow art and crayon rubbings.
This year, the school is working to explore outdoor, and used Oct. 20 as an early opportunity to engage in using the outdoors to support student learning.
