International Education Week 2023 is set for Nov. 20-24

Each year, government, educational institutions and not-for-profits come together to celebrate the value and impact of international education during International Education Week. This year’s celebration will take place from Nov. 20-24 and will include some exciting local initiatives.
As part of this year’s recognition of International Education Week, Alberta is celebrating the benefits of learning international languages. Studying another language and participating in international language programs builds cross-cultural skills and helps students adapt to various cultural contexts. In an increasingly global world, these skills are beneficial for students as they navigate study and work locally, nationally, and internationally.
