École Agnes Davidson teams up with LCSO for holiday project

École Agnes Davidson and the Lethbridge Senior Citizen Organization are partnering to help make the holiday brighter for local seniors.
On Thursday, LSCO's Heather Bursaw and Shiloh Sabas stopped by the school to pick up crafts and Christmas projects created by students.
Throughout November, students were busy making cards, crafts and art work that will be delivered to people who are receiving Meals on Wheels for the month of December. During the month, each meal will be accompanied by a student work of art to bring a touch of joy and holiday spirit to each person receiving a meal.
Cynthia Greenfield, Learning Support Teacher, at École Agnes Davidson, helped co-ordinate the project, along with University of Lethbridge student teachers Melanie Guenther (Grade 3 with Mme Allison Goettel) and Alex Lovell (Grade 4 with Mr. Stu Nish).
