Fairbairn awarded $7,500 from Lethbridge Community Foundation

Lethbridge School Division is thrilled to announce Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School’s Audio Recording Project has been awarded $7,500 from the Lethbridge Community Foundation!
This funding will help the school purchase professional recording equipment to enhance music education, support student creativity and celebrate cultural diversity through sound.
From steel drums to guitar ensembles and digital compositions, students will now have the tools to record, collaborate and share their work — just in time for Fairbairn’s Spring 2025 CBC Classroom Music Challenge submission.
“Huge thanks to the Lethbridge Community Foundation for believing in our vision and helping us give our students a powerful voice through music,” said Kyle Harmon, band teacher at Fairbairn.
