Coalbanks Channel 17 School News hits the airways
The Coalbanks Channel 17 School News team is back for 2023!
This week, students were hard at work on a new episode, as anchors Haysten Low and Macie Maret and the entire crew prepare for the winter/spring production schedule.
A cast of writers, producers, editors, camera operators, cue card holders and reporters, under the director of Grade 2/3 teacher Jared Hunt, completed three episodes in 2022.
The crew for the 2022/2023 school year includes:
Anchors – Haysten Low and Macie Maret
Writers – Cassandra Boora
Producers – Ricardo Montana
Editors – Gavin Galeana
Camera operators – Cooper Baum, Sam Mathur, Nate Mutschall
Art – Eve Jahn and Lillian Olitch
Reporters – Meela Tams, Emersyn Hoyt and Brightyn Christensen
