Di Palma's poem, in its entirety, is below:
“COVID 19”
Not us – Them, it couldn’t be!
Blame, Prejudice, Ridicule
Slowly creeped in fear, the unknown, Now What?
We begin to question… who what?
Darkness within trying to hold it all together
Deep breathing … Families uniting,
Communities rallying, Countries, Nations, The World
becoming ONE
What we once thought was “Normal” has turned upside down.
We now realize the Human Race, no matter Creed or Colour
along with Mother Earth is HEALING to become ONE.
Maybe this was its purpose for us to UNITE as ONE
