Dr. Plaxton spring gala brings school community together
On Thursday, May 19, Dr. Robert Plaxton Elementary School hosted a concert and art show that involved every student in the school.
Performances were delivered by grade level featuring Kindergarten to Grade 5 students.
Instruments, singing, movement and art were at the heart of the gala event.
In represented the first opportunity for the Plaxton community to gather in person. Production was provided by Sonic Multimedia to enhance the performance experience for students.
The program weaved together a narrative of the human experience in a new school as Plaxton develops its identity and culture. The music highlighted joy, creativity and the ebb and flow of the school's moments together.
