Work underway on site for future K-5 westside elementary school

In September of 2025, Lethbridge School Division will open a new elementary school in the Garry Station area of west Lethbridge.
But before that happens, a significant amount of work will need to be completed this spring to prepare the site for construction. Site work is currently underway, as Melcor Developments is proceeding with installing new utilities, road realignment and widening and leveling of the building location and playing fields. This work is scheduled for completion by the fall of 2022.
Actual school construction will begin on the site, which is located south of Kensington Road West and west of the newly-named Abitibi Road West, sometime in 2023.
