Rugby 15s provincials coming to Lethbridge as WCHS hosts this year's tournament

Starting Friday, Winston Churchill High School is set to host the Alberta Schools' Athletic Association Rugby 15s Provincial Championships.
All of the action takes place at the Lethbridge Sports Park, located at 2801-30 Ave. N.
Games will get underway on Friday at 10 a.m. with the start of 3A girls play.
Competition continues with games at 11 a.m., noon, 1 p.m., 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
On Saturday, the 3A girls championship game, and the bronze-medal game, will both begin at 10 a.m.
At 11:30 a.m., the 4A boys championship game, and the bronze/medal game, will take place.
The 4A girls championship and bronze-medal game will be contested at 1 p.m.
Winston Churchill will compete in the 3A girls division, as the team will play Friday at 1 p.m. against Strathmore and Friday at 4 p.m. against Matthew Halton.
The Churchill boys will take the field in the 4A division, and will open play Friday at 11 a.m. against Strathmore. Win or lose, WCHS will play again on Friday at 2 p.m.
Lethbridge Collegiate Institute's 4A girls team opens play Friday at noon against Red Deer's Notre Dame. LCI's next game, win or lose, goes later in the day at 3 p.m.
The LCI boys will compete in 4A, and open things up Friday at 11 a.m. against Bowness. LCI will play at 2 p.m. as well.
