Nicholas Sheran partners with Gentle Giant Acres to deliver Christmas cards to AgeCare Columbia
This year, Nicholas Sheran Elementary School students found a unique way to spread holiday cheer to seniors at AgeCare Columbia.
On Wednesday afternoon, three miniature horses from Gentle Giant Acres stopped by the school to collect Christmas cards students had created for local seniors.
Classes on Kindergarten students, all the way up to Grade 5, had an opportunity to head outside and place their class cards in the saddlebags on the ponies.
The pony express then made its way to AgeCare Columbia to drop off the cards.
