National Indigenous Peoples Day recognized at Senator Fairbairn
Wednesday featured an entire day of activities at Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School for National Indigenous Peoples Day.
Students rotated between smudging and art stations, along with activities such as lacrosse, archery and indigenous games.
A school-wide round dance around the tipi, set up out front of the school, wrapped up the day.
