Linda Bateman appointed vice-principal for Lethbridge Christian School

Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announced Linda Bateman has been appointed Vice-Principal of Lethbridge Christian School, commencing the 2024/2025 school year.
An educator who allows students to follow their wonder and engage in curiousity, discovery and exploration, Bateman excels in building positive, effective relationships, which she added is key to contributing to a safe, respectful and inclusive school environment.
“I am very excited to continue to serve the LCS community as their Vice-Principal and Learning Support Teacher,” said Bateman. “It has been an honour and a joy to work and learn alongside staff and administration as we endeavour to help students be successful. I look forward to being part of the team that finds creative and innovative ways to increase student engagement and learning. Thank you to the Division leadership for giving me this opportunity to grow and develop as a leader. I look forward to what lies ahead."
Bateman has been teaching for 17 years. After a brief stint as a substitute teacher in Lethbridge School Division and Livingstone Range School Division, she has served as an elementary educator at Lethbridge Christian School teaching Grade 3 and Grade 4.
Bateman was appointed Acting Vice-Principal of Lethbridge Christian School for the 2023/2024 school year.
In 2020, she added a Master of Education in Literacy to her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education degrees (specializing in Indigenous Studies), all from the University of Lethbridge.
In her spare time, Bateman likes to hike, camp, backpack, read, watch movies, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
