LCI set to host ASAA 4A Boys and Girls Volleyball Tournament

The Alberta Schools’ Athletic Association 4A Boys and Girls Volleyball Tournament is heading to Lethbridge.
From Nov. 21-23, Lethbridge Collegiate Institute will host the event, as the hometown Rams come in ranked No. 7 and the Clippers enter play ranked No. 3.
Everything gets underway on Thursday at 8:40 a.m., as LCI will host the opening ceremonies. Matches begin at 11:30 a.m., with six matches set for courts at Chinook High School, Gilbert Paterson Middle School, LCI and Lethbridge Polytechnic. LCI’s Rams will play Jasper Place at the Polytechnic on Court 3.
The Clippers will hit the court at LCI later in the day at 1 p.m., as the hosts will take on Salisbury Composite.
Matches continue Thursday at 2:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 5:30 p.m. and 7 p.m., highlighted by the LCI Clippers-William Aberhart game at 7 p.m. at LCI.
The Rams will close out that team’s day one schedule against Charles Spencer on Court C at the Polytechnic.
Friday’s slate of playoff matches begins at 10 a.m. at LCI and the three courts at Lethbridge Polytechnic, with the last matches scheduled for 6 p.m.
On Saturday, playoffs continue with matches at 8:45 a.m. and 9 a.m. at LCI and Lethbridge Polytechnic.
The girls championship will be played at 4:40 p.m. on Court B at the Polytechnic, and the boys will play for gold at 6:30 p.m., also on Court B.
