Kimmapiiyipitssini Festival at Victoria Park High School

Tuesday's Kimmapiiyipitssini Festival at Victoria Park High School featured a wide variety of activities for students.
The day kicked off with a tipi set-up and progressed to classroom activities, a welcome event inside the gym and an introduction of the Moose Hide concept.
Performances in the gym included jingle and fancy dances and a special performance from Jerrhan First Charger, all accompanied by drummers Julius and Troy Delaney.
Students participated in traditional games, Metis dot art and had the opportunity to visit many booths, including those set up by the University of Lethbridge and the Galt Museum, among others.
