Jenn Giles appointed vice-principal at Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School

Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announce Jenn Giles has been appointed vice-principal at Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School, commencing the 2021-22 school year.
In her leadership role as Lethbridge School Division Numeracy Lead Teacher, Giles has demonstrated a magical and intuitive sense of how to motivate people to move along the path of reflection and improvement. A leader who embraces the importance of relationships and making connections, Jenn models vulnerability, courage, transparency and commitment.
Giles believes in walking alongside staff to build capacity and leveraging collaboration to build shared understandings. Her experience has proven success in leading professional learning in the areas of numeracy, technology, and thinking classrooms.
“I am honoured to have the opportunity to work with the staff and students at Senator Joyce Fairbairn Middle School,” said Giles. “I look forward to working alongside the dedicated community in supporting rich, inclusive practices and in continuing to foster meaningful and innovative learning opportunities for students. Giles has a strong reputation as a master teacher with experience spanning elementary and middle school grades. In her current position as Numeracy Lead Teacher for Lethbridge School Division, she has a breadth of experience leading curriculum initiatives and delivering workshops. She possesses a curiosity that becomes part of the culture of where she is driving inquiry and growth.
Giles completed a Bachelor of Science degree followed by a Bachelor of Education with the University of Lethbridge. She earned her Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership with the University of Lethbridge.
