École Agnes Davidson students wins Fire Chief for a Day contest

Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services stopped by École Agnes Davidson this morning to honour Kindergarten student Sofia Woons as the winner of the Fire Chief for a Day contest.
Students across the city were invited to enter the contest in support of Fire Prevention Week, which had them plan a fire escape to ensure they had adequate ways out of every room in their house.
Woons was presented with a certificate, prize pack and a fire fighters outfit, along with a visit from Sparky the Fire Dog.
Her Kindergarten classmates were also treated to a Panago North Fire Chief school class pizza party.
Along with this class, included in the photo is Chief Fire Marshall Heath Wright (far right), Fire Prevention Officer Neil Jesse (far left) and Panago's Wade Pierson.
