Division schools and staff contribute to Sock It To 'Em

Lethbridge School Division schools and staff came through once again for the 24th annual Sock It To 'Em campaign.
Thursday, at the Nord-Bridge Seniors Centre, community organizations gathered to pick up their share of this year's haul, as approximately 6,500 pairs of socks were gathered.
Throughout the Division, CUPE 290 staff organized sock drives and once again, the results were amazing. The 6,500 pairs this year marked a big improvement over last season, when around 5,000 pairs were donated.
On Thursday, students from Winston Churchill High School were on hand to collect socks, along with local groups such as Harbour House, Woods Homes, Angel Tree, the Lethbridge Shelter and Resource Centre and Nord-Bridge.
Over the course of the last 24 years, Sock It To 'Em organizers estimate around 200,000 pairs of socks have been donated.
