Costco donates a backpack for every student at Lakeview Elementary School
Thursday was a day of celebration at Lakeview Elementary School.
Students gathered outside for an assembly to mark Spirit Day, as part of Lakeview Days, but also received two surprises.
Principal Connie Adserballe and members of the Lakeview staff revealed to students that Lakeview was presented with a donation from Costco, where every student will receive a new backpack.
Costco also donated $650 to the school for the purchase of new supplies for recess.
