Community donations send Westminster students to Christmas Glow
On Wednesday afternoon, students from Westminster Elementary School had an opportunity to tour the Christmas Glow Around the World exhibit at the Lethbridge Agri-food Hub & Trade Centre.
A few weeks ago, the school reached out to a few community members to see if they would donate enough money to send the entire school to the exhibition.
The school was successful in securing funding, and 230 students and 38 staff members visited the display on Wednesday.
Community donors included Marci Stickel, owner of L.A. Chefs, and Gerry Perry of Perry family farms.
