Chinook takes first place in Tri-High Food Drive

Chinook High School has emerged victorious in the annual Tri-High Food Drive.
On Friday afternoon, representatives from Chinook, Lethbridge Collegiate Institute and Winston Churchill High School gathered at the Lethbridge Food Bank to find out which high school led the way in terms of donations.
Chinook led the way with 698 pounds of food. As the school's financial donation was added to the fix, it amounted to a total value of $2,743.58 ($1.76 per student).
LCI came in at 471 pounds in terms of food donations, and a total value of $1,933.63 ($1.33 per student).
WCHS donated 399 pounds of food and amassed a value total of $1,552.75 ($1.55 per student).
