Chinook High School hosts Lebanese Heritage Day
Lana Chemissany, an intern teacher at Chinook High School, organized Lebanese Heritage Day on Tuesday, Nov. 21.
Chemissany, along with members of her family and Chinook Culture Club students, helped introduce students to Lebanese cuisine and music, and presented a PowerPoint display featuring facts about the country.
November, 2023, marks the first Lebanese Heritage Month in Canada.
