Buchanan assembly gets messy as students collect on bingo night prizes
Tuesday morning's assembly got a little messy at Senator Buchanan Elementary School. Buchanan staff took to the stage, and for their troubles, the teachers were pied by their students, all for a good cause. The pieing was a result of the school's bingo night, as players won or purchased tickets to a silent auction. Auction items included Lego sets, an Apple watch and many other highly-sought-after items. But perhaps the most prestigious prize was the opportunity to pie a teacher, as Buchanan staff members offered themselves up as prizes. During Tuesday's assembly, students collected on that prize!
