Coalbanks Channel 17 School News team reports from ICE Showcase

On March 9, Chinook High School hosted Lethbridge School Division's ICE Scholarship Showcase event.
Community members wandered the hallways at Chinook to view tables that highlighted the amazing initiatives our students and our schools are involved in.
Three winners of the 2022 ICE Awards Scholarships, Roxana Albu, Melora Bowie and Ava Martin, showcased the projects that earned them $1,000 scholarship last year: WINNERS.
The showcase was an opportunity to thank our generous sponsors, who have made it possible over the years to award $28,000 to 30 students throughout Lethbridge School Division.
The evening also served to promote scholarship applications. Currently, the Division is seeking students to apply for the 2023 scholarships. Up to two scholarships, worth $1,000 each, will be handed out in each of the Grade 9/10 and Grade 11/12 categories: APPLICATIONS.
More information on the scholarship can be found here: SHOWCASE.
Students from the Coalbanks Channel 17 School News team also attended the event, and put together this special report from the showcase:
