Plaxton students experiment with growing tomatoes in Martian soil

On Thursday, Grade 4 students at Dr. Robert Plaxton Elementary School participated in an experiment to coincide with the school's upcoming Mars Month in March.
The school obtained some Martian regolith (soil), very similar to the soil NASA uses to test and experiment.
Students started an experiment to examine how tomato seeds grow in Earth versus Martian soil.
