Galbraith teacher recognized as Education Week celebrations kick off
During Education Week, Lethbridge Public Local 41 of the Alberta Teachers' Association is visiting four Division schools to recognize four teachers.
The celebration started Monday at Galbraith Elementary School, as Grade 3 teacher Jackie Inaba was recognized by a committee led by Local 41 vice-president Christine Henke.
Inaba's students were also treated to a pizza party courtesy Panago Pizza North and had the opportunity to head outside to enjoy shaved ice from Kona Ice.
