Division schools mark Pink Shirt Day 2023
On Wednesday, Feb. 15, schools throughout Lethbridge School Division recognized Pink Shirt Day.
The official Pink Shirt Day for 2023 falls on Wednesday, Feb. 22, during the week-long Family Day break for Division students.
Now a movement celebrated across the globe, Pink Shirt Day was inspired by an act of kindness in small-town Nova Scotia, as CKNW Kids' Fund, working with partners Boys & Girls Clubs and 980 CKNW, was inspired to raise funds to support anti-bullying programs.
