Winners announced for Division's Be a Re3 Hero Contest

Earlier this year, Lethbridge School Division launched the Be a Re3 Hero contest to help bring awareness to the Division's Waste Management Program - the Re3 Program.
Two classes won tours of the City of Lethbridge Waste and Recycling Centre, including a bus ride, followed by a Pizza Party!
Projects were created about the Re3 Program and in the end, classes from Dr. Robert Plaxton Elementary School and Lethbridge Christian Elementary School emerged victorious.
Plaxton’s 4C-Lazano/Holmes class was recognized for a variety of projects from the waste management science unit, while the LCS Grade 7/8 Kish class earned recognition for stop motion video projects from the project based learning class.
Students from both classes will be received certificates recognizing them as Re3 Heroes.
