Nicole Court appointed vice-principal at Galbraith Elementary School

Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announce Nicole Court has been appointed vice-principal at Galbraith Elementary School, commencing the 2021-22 school year.
Court is known as an educator skilled at building strong relationships with members of her school communities. She believes that trust is foundational for building the unified goal of student success. Excited to have the opportunity as a school leader to support and promote best practice in classrooms, she desires to work alongside staff to build capacity.
Court is knowledgeable about inclusive practices and believes in providing students with challenging learning environments structured to ensure every students has the opportunity to engage fully in their learning. 
She is a reflective practitioner who is dedicated to the continuous development of her practice to further student learning.
“I am so excited to continue my career at Galbraith in my new role as vice-principal,” said Court. “I have loved my time at Galbraith and feel so fortunate to continue to work and learn alongside our amazing staff, students and families. As an educator, I believe that positive and trusting relationships are the foundation for our success as a school community. I look forward to supporting Galbraith's welcoming and inclusive culture, as we encourage all our students to engage in deep learning and risk taking.”
Currently the Learning Support Teacher at Galbraith Elementary School, Court has a breadth of experience at different elementary schools as a successful classroom teacher. She has collaborated with teachers in the implementation of student-focused practices including concept-based learning, universal, targeted and individualized supports, and comprehensive literacy strategies.
Court has a Bachelor of Arts degree and Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Lethbridge. She is progressing through her Masters of Education program in Educational Leadership with the University of Lethbridge.
