Lakie Literacy Fair helps students celebrate Language Arts
Earlier today, G.S. Lakie Middle School hosted at Literacy Fair.
The school's four Grade 6 classes packed the gym, as students created tri-fold boards with interactive elements about something amazing they've read this year.
All classes in the school had an opportunity to tour the literacy fair and complete a scavenger hunt for prizes.
Lakie's Learning Commons facilitator also put together a used book sale to raise money for the school library and to add some more fun to the day.
