Fleetwood brings students together for flag blessing ceremony
On Tuesday morning, Blackfoot elder Jordan Head joined Jenna Bruised Head, the Division's Indigenous Education Middle School Teacher and Melanie Morrow, Indigenous Education Elementary School Teacher, for a special event at Fleetwood-Bawden Elementary School.
The morning featured a flag blessing, as students also had the opportunity to view a smudging ceremony.
