Chinook valedictorian, and massive Oilers fan, recognized in special ceremony

On Thursday, June 12, administrators at Chinook High School recognized the 2025 valedictorian in a ceremony no one will soon forget.
On the night before Yote Day, Chinook's big year-end event, the school honoured Maxwell Edwards with an Oilers-theme celebration. Edwards earned an academic average (from Grade 10 to Grade 12) of 96.9 per cent. Chinook rounded it up to 97 per cent, due to the fact the valedictorian's favourite player is Connor McDavid. 
Edwards has been involved in a ton of extra curriculars of the years, especially involving Fine Arts. He sings in the choir, he acts in plays and musicals and has been described as a great all-around student.
