Chinook hosts 2024 ICE Awards Scholarship Showcase

It was a packed house at Chinook High School Wednesday evening for the ICE Awards Scholarship Showcase.
The hallways were filled with student displays of Innovation, Creativity and Entrepreneurship, highlighted by the four winners of the 2023 ICE Awards Scholarship, which included Samreet Mutti (Bollywood Dance Group - Winston Churchill High School), Bronwyn Taylor, Madeline Taylor, Marie Metz and Siyeon Ryu (Earth Club, Lethbridge Collegiate Institute), Kennedy Chinn (Escapism Digital Art - Chinook High School) and Jerry Wang (Drumming Program, Winston Churchill High School).
Amazing displays covered a wide range of areas and topics to keep crowds engaged and entertained throughout the evening.
The evening wrapped up with a formal program inside Chinook's Media Centre, hosted by Trustees Kristina Larkin and Andrea Andreachuk, which featured presentations from the 2023 scholarship winners, the awarding of numerous door prizes and the premiere of the ICE Awards Scholarship video for 2024, which can be viewed below.
The event also served to promote applications for this year's $1,000 scholarship. If you are a Division student in Grade 9 to Grade 12, you are eligible to apply through this link: SCHOLARSHIP.
