McMurren appointed vice-principal at Park Meadows Elementary School

Lethbridge School Division is pleased to announce Candice McMurren has been appointed vice-principal at Park Meadows Elementary School.
Currently the acting principal at Dr. Gerald B. Probe Elementary School, McMurren possesses a breadth of experience as a leader and educator. She is passionate about meeting the needs of all students, has assumed the role of Classroom Support Teacher and provided leadership oversight for Inclusive Education and ESL Programming.
McMurren has a deep understanding of literacy and the use of assessment to inform instructional practice that targets students where they are at. She has a spark and spirit that energizes a school and an unwavering commitment to student success.
She believes all students should be embraced in a safe and caring school culture, and teachers feel supported in providing quality instruction.
