Looking to register your child in school for the 2019/2020 school year?
For families new to Lethbridge, or Lethbridge School District No. 51, the District website is a great place to find all the relevant information.
To register for Kindergarten, children must turn five years of age on or before Dec. 31 of the year of entry into school. Details on Kindergarten registration can be found here: KINDERGARTEN.
Registration packages for Kindergarten, and students in Grade 1 to Grade 12, can also be found on our school websites, which are located here: SCHOOLS. Registration information, including online forms, can most often be found on the homepage of our school websites, or under the Parents section. Alternatively, you can also contact your school directly. School offices are open to the public starting at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21.
Not sure which school your child should be attending? View the School Boundaries and Bus Routes section of our website, or enter your address in the School Locator Package, located here: LOCATOR.
Lethbridge School District No. 51 also offers early education programs for preschool-aged children. Not every school in the District houses an early education program. A full list of schools that do offer the program can be found here: EARLY EDUCATION.
An early education program brochure, which explains more details about the program, can be downloaded here: BROCHURE.
Please note there are space limitations in early education programs at certain District schools, and some programs are currently full. A number of spots are available at Senator Buchanan Elementary School and Westminster Elementary School. Call 403-380-5298 for information on space availability at our other schools.
