Park Meadows students place orange rocks in display case
Last Thursday, Park Meadows Elementary School students put the finishing touches on the creation of an Orange Shirt Day project.
Classes participated in a nature walk outside of the school, before students made their way inside with their orange rocks, as part of the Lethbridge School Division Pathways to Reconciliation Project.
Once inside, students recognized a moment of silence before they placed their orange rocks inside a display case, an initiative led by the school's Indigenous committee.
