Chinook High School Awards

Chinook High School handed out a wide variety of student awards during the annual Yote Day celebration.

Grade 9 pin presentations saw Zoe Arvay, Grace Fletcher, Olivia Gook, Clayton O’Neill, Brooke Robinson, Kyra Tamke, Ries Bower, Eva Glenn, Jelena Kish, Eli Orr and Gabby Suggitt recognized.

Grade 10 pin presentations had Grace Glenn and Kennedy Moland honoured.

Grade 11 pins were handed out to Ainsley DeBoer, Tal Orr, Takeo Uyesugi, Izzy Dyck and Ben Townley.

For Grade 12, Emily Bright, Sariah Hurd and Abigail Gruenhage were recognized with pins.

Athlete of the Year plaques were handed out to Eva Glenn and Aidan Doyle (Grade 9), Angelina Ellis-Toddington and Jayden Gurney (Grade 10), Ainsley DeBoer and Chase Kehler (Grade 11) and Abigail Gruenhage and Solen Wood (Grade 12).

Fine Arts Students of the Year plaques went to Josephine Dunn and Alexa Scott (Grade 9), Josette Bond and Anna Theoret (Grade 10), Mark Uwazny and Tanner Orr (Grade 11) and Emily Carlson and Madison Kopp (Grade 12).

The Dr. Yates Scholarship was presented to Kaitlin Carter and Nole Richardson.

Coyote Character Awards went to Gabby Suggitt (Grade 9), Grade 10: Emily Miller (Grade 10), Joey Beebe (Grade 11) and Eman Ali (Grade 12).

The Yote Pride Award was presented to Phillip Tritz.
