Grade 9 and JV basketball jamboree this weekend at Winston Churchill
The Winston Churchill Bulldogs Grade 9 and Junior Varsity Basketball Jamboree will hit the court Friday and Saturday.
It all gets underway Friday at 1 p.m., as the host Bulldogs will take on Magrath in a Grade 9 game. A skills competition for the Grade 9s will follow at 2:45 p.m.
At 7 p.m., a skills competition will be held for the JV teams. That will be followed by a 7:45 p.m. game that will feature the Bulldogs JV team and Jaffray.
The WCHS Grade 9s will take on Cardston on Saturday at 9:45 a.m., as the Bulldogs wrap things up with a 3 p.m. game against St. Mary's.
Winston's JV team will play Saturday at 11:30 a.m. against Willow Creek and at 8:15 p.m. against Kainai, in the last scheduled game for the tournament.
