Division hosts Pathways to Reconciliation Flag Raising Ceremony
On Monday morning, Kiitohmahkaa (Elder Tom Little Bear), joined Lethbridge School Division for the Pathways to Reconciliation Flag Raising Ceremony, held on the front lawn of the Education Centre.
Joel Tailfeathers, the Division's Co-ordinator of Indigenous Education, kicked off the ceremony, which also included short speeches from Board Chair Allison Purcell and Supt. Cheryl Gilmore.
Melanie Morrow, The Division's Indigenous Education Elementary School Teacher, provided details surrounding the Pathways to Reconciliation projects schools will be Completing on Thursday.
