Dr. Robert Plaxton Elementary School hosts official grand opening
The Dr. Robert Plaxton Elementary School community gathered Friday morning for the official grand opening.
Taber Warner MLA Grant Hunter delivered remarks from the Government of Alberta, while Lethbridge School Division Board Chair Christine Light addressed the audience on behalf of the Division.
Lethbridge Mayor Chris Spearman represented the City of Lethbridge, while Dr. Robert Plaxton's son, David Plaxton, spoke on behalf of the Plaxton family.
Following the ceremony and the official photo with the Government of Alberta plaque, dignitaries had the opportunity to tour the school.
