G.S. Lakie students building hand sanitizer stands for school

Students at G.S. Lakie Middle School are building hand sanitizer stands for use throughout the school.
During Period 1, Lakie teacher Gord Smith is bringing shop to the classroom, with assistance from Home Depot, who donated most of the materials for the project.
A workbench on wheels is also being brought into the classroom as students are building stands for each Lakie classroom.
Once the stands are constructed, students are then able to design and build something of their own in Lakie's four-week Supplementary Activity class for Grade 8s.
