LCS and MMH participate in Fish in Schools raise and release program

The Fish in Schools (FinS) raise and release program brought Lethbridge Christian School and Mike Mountain Horse Elementary School Grade 3 students out to Nicholas Sheran Park on Tuesday morning. The FinS program is a unique opportunity to raise trout in a school classroom. Over five months, students and teachers work together to maintain and monitor the development of rainbow trout, from egg to fry, in a classroom aquarium. At the end of the program, schools release their fry into a provincially-approved waterbody.
