Expert in digital citizenship to provide free parent workshop on March 26

In March, parents will have an opportunity to take part in a free digital citizenship presentation with one of North America’s leading experts.

An information evening, Digital Citizenship: A Parents Roadmap for Success, will take place Tuesday, March 26 at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute inside the Large Lecture Theatre at 7 p.m. It will feature Dr. Mike Ribble, who has been recognized for his work, in partnership with the International Society for Technology in Education, to promote and educate on responsible use to technology.

Ribble’s book, Digital Citizenship in Schools, is a guiding document for both the International Society for Technology in Education and the Alberta Technology Leaders in Education.

The event is being held in co-operation with Lethbridge School District No. 51, along with Palliser Regional Schools, Safe Net Alberta, the Southern Alberta Professional Development Consortium, Lethbridge Police Service, London Drugs and YWCA Lethbridge and District.
