Public information sessions, The Basis of Addiction, set for Jan. 29 and Feb. 12

As a part of the continued efforts to reach a community-based drug strategy, the City of Lethbridge will be hosting two public information sessions on The Basics of Addiction.

The purpose of the public evening sessions will be to help raise the awareness on and to address topics such as:

• What is addiction?

• How does addiction develop?

• Who is impacted?

• What are the treatment options?

• How do we prevent substance use?

Information on dates, times and locations for the sessions can be found below, or in the attached poster. Both sessions are free of charge and no RSVP is required.

If these topics are of interest to you in your community, we encourage you to come out and attend a session.
