Safe Net Alberta's Connecting in an Age of Digital Disconnection set for May 8

Safe Net Alberta is hosting an information session next month with a focus on reflecting on research regarding hyper-connected youth.

The session, Connecting in an Age of Digital Disconnection, will be hosted by Lethbridge College on May 8 at 6:30 p.m.

Safe Net will help parents learn about what today’s youth are doing with digital devices, and what parents can do to help their children with living in digital age.

Breakout sessions will include how to overcome smartphone addiction, monitoring your home internet and introducing kids to social media.

Lethbridge School District No. 51 is partnering with the Holy Spirit Catholic Schools, Lethbridge Police Service, London Drugs, Palliser Regional Schools and the Southern Alberta Professional Development Consortium to host the event.
