uLethbridge Programs and Services Fair helps bring U of L to LCI

The uLethbridge Programs and Services Fair took over the Lethbridge Collegiate Institute cafeteria on Tuesday.

The fair, the first of its kind held at LCI, represented a unique opportunity for the high school students in attendance.

“The purpose of the fair was to give LCI students the opportunity to learn more about their post-secondary options,” said Erica Larson, Career Practitioner at Lethbridge Collegiate Institute. “This event goes further than the current engagement the University has with our students that takes place through general classroom presentations and information booths.”

During the event, the University engaged with prospective local students and showcased the individual programs and services the university has to offer. All students from grades 9 -12 were encouraged to participate.

The list of exhibitors from the U of L included:

- Faculty of Arts and Science

- Faculty of Health Sciences

- Faculty of Management

- Agility

- Accommodated Learning Centre

- Counselling and Career Services

- FNMI Student Services

- Horns Recreation

- Management Co-op

- Career Bridge Office

- Scholarship and Student Finance

- Student Success Centre.
